Packers v. Vikings

Brett Favre isn't invincible after all wearing a Minnesota Vikings uniform at Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers aren't finished, either. What might have been Favre's final game in the city he brought so much glory for 16 years turned into a personal nightmare Sunday night. (A nightmare of his own making...it started 3 years ago.)
Green Bay -- With a lot less fanfare than last time and not all that much crowd noise, quarterback Brett Favre came out of the south tunnel
It was not anything like his first time back when he was soundly booed by a fairly full stadium. This time around, only about half the people are in their seats and far less were gathered around the visitors' players entrance. (Does this mean his 'Welcome' has worn thin?)
Still, there were plenty of boos for Favre and they lasted a good 30 seconds or so. Perhaps the fact that there are a good number of fans dressed in Vikings garb makes a difference. It's definitely more opposing-team fans than you'd see for any other game. (Yes, the Lambeau stands were a sea of Green, Gold and P-U-R-P-L-E!)
Favre marched out to the opposite 40-yard line and began throwing as he normally does. Most of the Packers weren't out yet, but wide receiver Greg Jennings was and was the first to greet him, giving him a big hug at around the 45.  (Yes, our Packers have class.....remember, Brett?)
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out a short while later, but he and Favre were a good distance apart but did not speak.  (Maybe after the game.)
Well, after some crummy football including numerous sacks on Favre (he also came away with two small broken bones in his left ankle), the Packers came out on top....again, playing down to practically the last point.  But, a win is a win....especially against the Vikings on our home turf!

Coach says that he may not play on Sunday.....Brett says he will.  Who will win this debate since Brett doesn't see "eye-to-eye" with even his own coach these days.  What does that tell you? He's slipping off his pedestal and it's showing.  Wonder if he kicks his dog when he gets home?
