The Plumber Was Here

Our stationary tubs downstairs by the washer and dryer were clogged, which in turn was starting to back up the kitchen sink because it's all on the same line. Well, since the house is on the market (and this would be the time we would get a "looker"), we decided to call the plumber right away. Reupert Plumbing on Villard Avenue has been in business longer than we have been alive.  We used them before and we would recommend them to anyone; because of the great service. They came out that same afternoon and did their (two guys, one older and one younger - must have been an apprentice) magic with the power "snake" and all's well in our pipes once again.

Our laundry room is pretty clean and empty because the house is for sale so there wasn't too much to worry about getting in their way before they got there.......HOWEVER, I should have looked UP when whipping through there getting the space ready.  After they left, I went down to check it out and ran right into this.....

hanging from the pipes above.  I ALMOST DIED!!  And, gee, couldn't it have been a pretty little lacy one instead of a 'grandma' bra?  And I know, to them, this was nothing.  I mean, can you imagine what they must run into in some basements?  Critters and insects - large and small and especially the ones that have a 1,000 legs....ICK!  My brother worked for the telephone company back when you had real phones in your house and you might have to call a repairman once in a while.  He has some GREAT stories of what he ran into in some houses.  I especially liked the one about the woman who answered the door in her sexy nightie.

Well, if anything, we gave the plumbers a good chuckle for their time spent in our house along with a big fat check!
