"666" Are we Doomed?

Was talking with our real estate agent the other night arranging an open house for Sunday and she brought up something that I thought was quite interesting; something we never thought of when we purchased this house.  The address.  She had a couple inquiries about our house until the interested parties found out that the first three numbers of the address were "666" and they backed off; wanted nothing to do with it.  Now, I know some people are spooked by such things but I did not know to what extreme.  I did some checking on the Internet to see exactly what "666" means because I have to admit, it peaked my curiosity.......

Yadda, yadda, yadda and it goes on and on.  Now I was never a fan of the "Friday the 13th" movies or fond of Freddie Kruger what's-his-name but I guess there are people out there that really take all this satinism seriously and believe that they need to live their lives by it or better yet, avoid it at all costs.  As for me, I have enough trouble just dealing with the regular everyday things of my life without adding to it.  So if someone does not want to buy, much less even look at our house, because the address starts with "666", fine.  All I know is that we have lived here for almost 40 years and we have survived.  Sure, when we first moved in, we did have a ghost....on the friendly side....but he/she moved on after we chose not to give him/her the attention they were seeking.  My general feeling about ghosts.....accept that they do exist and you all can live happily together; even become pals.

Then again, we were dealing with a ghost and not Satan so MAYBE there is a difference but who am I to say....heck, I talk to the furniture on my good days!
