Is it just me........

Or is Spring really heading our way?  Doesn't it just make you want to go out there and start planting even though it's really way too early?  I wonder what kind of growing season Grandpa will have in Tennessee.  We had someone look at our house last week and they were impressed by two things:  The bar in the basement rec-room; compliments of late Great-Grandpa Schmidt and Grandpa's square foot raised garden in our back yard.  I remember when he first buit that; some people thought that it was such a strange idea but we have had it for many, many years and he plans on building one in Tennessee.  He already has the lumber for it AND it looks like he will be getting back into tropical fish again too.  Well, that's what retirement is all about...catching up on things you don't have the time to do while you are working.  As for me, I just love watching him when he talks about his retirement and our move.  It makes me so happy to see him so happy!
