New Laptop

Hi everyone! This is a monumental occasion in my computer life and am glad I can share it with all of my friends. Grandpa bought me a new laptop for Christmas; well actually I bought it here in Tennessee while visiting Shelly and the girls. I have to admit that it has taken some getting used to (I gotta stop hitting the Caps Lock key with my little finger), but I decided that I was not going to adapt unless I jumped in both feet. So, here is my first complete blog entry on "Lulu", my new laptop. I also learned that if you do not raise your fingers high enough when typing, your palms rest on Lulu's mouse pad and all havoc breaks lose! But that's ok because it improved my posture....can't slouch with this baby....at least not when you are first learning anyway. Also, I have not gotten the hang of Windows 7 yet so I haven't quite got the right way to save photos yet so I apologize for my blog being so boring. I told Grandpa I need a "Windows for Dummies" book for Christmas so I can bring myself up to speed. Oooops, I just reached with my right hand over to where my mouse would be. This is going to be a real riot! Actually, there was a real reason for getting a new computer. I have hopes of setting up some sort of home business when we move down here permanently and with all the people on computers in this house, one will not be enough. Besides Lulu can go wireless....what a concept to be able to "compute" from any room in the house! Gee, I could even lay in bed and work on Lulu...that is when I get a little better at it.

Well, now that I made it through my first blog on Lulu without having an anxiety attack, there will be more to come. I've missed blogging and once I get back to Milwaukee (Wednesday), I will be back into my 'groove'. I may even experiment with new designs for the Blog....freshen it up a little....can't hurt!

Until next time........Grandma and Lulu signing off.

You're moving up in the world - finally. At home that's all I use. And wireless is wonderful!
