Grandpa's Day at the Spa.....
Grandpa was commenting how dry and callused his feet were. I took a look and agreed he needed a little "pampering" for his feet so I invited him to my "Spa". So I dragged out the Rubbermaid scrub bucket which, as you can see, was the perfect shape for him to soak his feet in (much better than a round one where he would have had to curl up his toes). And, I didn't even use Spic 'n Span"......I splurged and busted out the bubble bath. I don't think we have to wonder how this part of the spa treatment felt on his feet; look at that smile! Next came, what I like to call, the "scraper" and filed away on his feet and his calluses. After the heavy-duty scraper, we went for the pumice stone for the little bit 'finer' filing and next up was, what I think Grandpa had to agree was the best part......the foot lotion and the rubbing of his feet. For this, he was laying on the couch with his feet on a towel on my lap, his eyes were closed and I think he really 'zoned out'. When he came back to earth, I invited him back next week, same place, same time and he did not hesitate to schedule his next treatment. And.....he's a good 'tipper'.....I got a bag of M & M's!!
