...that we could get a rip-roaring blizzard like we just had and you would have that sparkle in your eyes like this little one has? Yep, there's that look of awe and excitement; something most of us adults have lost after having to dig our way out of one-too-many heavy snowfalls. At this age it's just one big playground of sledding, building snowmen and helping with the shoveling....even if you don't have a shovel...the rake will work. Who cares about driving in it, shoveling it or where to put it when it gets so high that you can't lift it any more. Mommy and daddy will handle all that....you just get to clear your own little spot to build your snow fort and slip and slide around and have fun. If you fall, mommy will just pick me up, dust you off and away you'll go; oblivious to all the 'worries' that come with a 2-foot snowfall. After all, you're only one year-old and there will be plenty of time to worry when you get older. For now, your job is to just be a kid!
(psst......I do too!)
