Over the holidays Tennessee was graced with quite a bit of snow; unusual for them, and Trinity and Madison wanted to take full advantage of it. However, their boots were at their Daddy's house....like THAT was going to stop them!! Actually, Madison was having fun playing out there in sandals until their Mommy caught up with them. I questioned Shelly about this and she assured me it was ok because Madison also had socks on...um...ok. I don't ask more than one question most times when it comes to Madison because in her world, she had something on her feet even if it was just socks and sandals so she had it covered. Well, as you can see.....her Mommy decided she needed more covering her toes so she whipped up these straight-out-of-the-cupboard Ziplock "overshoes" (over her tennies). Hey, if it works in Tennessee, it's a "go" and there is only one person who could pull off the 'look'....our fashionato, Madison!!
Shelly found some bigger boots for Trinity. I don't know what size they were or where they came from (like I said, I try not to ask many questions) but these boots made Trinity look at least 5'5" tall! They were a little big but as you can see by the following photo, it didn't stop them from taking their bikes for a spin....after all, there wasn't any snow on the driveway or road, like THAT would have stopped them!
This would be a shot from our front porch.....now you can see why we are so anxious to get down there! Yes, that's our driveway and our neighbor w-a-a-a-y across the street! It's called SPACE! Oh, and check out the newly crafted snow angels on the front lawn...you don't need spiffy boots to make those; just a Mommy who loves snow!
