Yep, it's another Grandma cake!! But this one almost was not to be....had trouble finding it in the stores. What? How could this be? Went to 3 Walmarts and they didn't have it. I was really starting to panic! I mean what is Christmas without my cake? Well, it's like Thanksgiving without a turkey! And, Mitchell would never forgive me if we showed up without a cake in hand so we kept searching and finally found it at Pick 'n Save....thank goodness!! (If I catch the cake mix and frosting on sale after Christmas, I think I will grab a few just to make sure that next year is taken care of in advance) This is my favorite of all the holiday cakes because the sprinkles include little green Christmas trees mixed in and with the green frosting, it's just so festive! It doesn't make any difference to the kids; a cake is a cake as long as it has confetti in it and sprinkles on the top.
I think this year, we'll serve it with brunch...that is if Mitchell can even make it that long before he digs into it.
