Oh My Gosh.....There Really is a Back to Grandpa's Truck!!

Today Grandpa came home and asked me to help him clean out his truck with only two days left of work.  It's something that had to be done because some of the stuff he had been lugging around all these years actually belongs to Langer so it had to be returned.  So wheeled out the garbage cart to the back of the truck and started shoveling it out.  After he had the back cleaned out except for the boxes and buckets of stuff that belong to Langer along with about 10 very long extension cords, he headed to the front cab of the truck.  He doesn't have an extended cab but a nice space in back of his seats where he has been stacking stuff for many years.  We found gloves, shirts, coveralls, boots, and other things too numerous to list.  Then he headed for the glove compartment and gutted that.  He was on a real roll!!  When we were done, our garbage cart was full, we had a nice pile of scrap metal to take to the junk yard and a pile of stuff he just could not part with....there's always that.  Once he makes his trip to the shop to return all of their tools, etc., the back of the truck will be in very good shape and ready to pack up a load to take to Tennessee.

Langer brought drinks (non-alcoholic) out to the job site today at lunch time to celebrate Grandpa's retirement.  That was nice.
