Grandpa's Retirement Party!!

Yes, Grandpa IS retiring!!  I know there are still some of you out there who can't quite grasp the idea that Grandpa would actually crawl down off that roof and turn in his tinsnips, tool bucket and hard hat.  But there's no denying it anymore because here's a copy of the invitation he brought home today folded up in his pocket.  As you can see, his pals at Langer are throwing him a retirment party.....not Langer, per se, but "the guys". Isn't it cute....sure, maybe not embossed with gold lettering but you can tell that someone with computer skills was on the job!  (Just ignore the handwritten inserted additions - it happens to the best of us even with the best planning).

I've gone to several of these with Grandpa over the years but they were for the "older" guys.  And now I think....WOW.....Grandpa IS one of the 'older' guys and we will actually be attending HIS party!! 

After 41 years, he DESERVES a party!  Crap....he paractically deserves a freakin banquet!!  We don't need to go into all the details but let's just say that he has 'paid his dues' many times over, has earned his chance to take it easy and I'm looking forward to having him all to myself!!! 

Hope the food is good and needless to say, I will be the designated driver for the evening festivities.  Afterall, Grandpa will be celebrating with his friends!!
