Blog Slacker?? Excuse Me......

I'm sure you can imagine how shocked and disturbed I was this evening when Grandpa, of all people, accused ME of being a Blog Slacker!  Before I go any further, let me point out that this is blog number 722 for me....yes, that is seven hundred twenty-two.....that's more than 500 and less than 300 from 1,000.  And just how many blogs has Grandpa done?  Oh, I don't know but I can bet I would only need two hands to add them up.  Not only do I blog on a regular basis, but I strive to keep my blog interesting, entertaining and attractive to read.  I have become very experienced at "borrowing" photos from other blogs (when I am short of photos), articles from the internet (when I feel the need to report something newsworthy) and am not above editorializing on subjects that have rattled my cage.  I will admit that there are times when I am struck with a "writer's block" for a few days but have always found my way back to one of my favorite pasttimes.  Even during my stay in Tennessee, I did not go the entire time without blogging....and that's saying a lot since I had to work on a itsy-bitzy laptop and keyboard balanced on my lap.  BUT, I blogged!  I think I have kept the look of my blog fresh and eye-catching and am very proud of the newest background scheme.  I know for a fact that my blogs are being printed, reproduced and enjoyed by many people.  Who else can say that?  In addition, let me add that I have kept blogging....even when I do not receive any comments from those that I write about, show pictures of or ask a question.  I believe my record of "blogs without comments" is 17!  And, I might add that Grandpa is one of the champion "comment slackers" of all times, right behind his title of "blog slacker".  I started by blog on August 10, 2008 and I do believe that I have accomplised what I set out to do so long ago and will continue to do so....but "blog slacker"....I AM NOT!!

Grandpa.....eat my dust!!
