Left Behind but not Forgotten.......

Hi, I'm Kitty.....I think I have a name but Grandma cannot remember what it is. I came to Milwaukee to visit for Christmas with Trinity but sadly got left behind (stuck inside the sleeping bag that Trinity was sleeping in). I don't even know if Trinity misses me or not....she hasn't called and it's been over one whole day! This is the door that she walked (she was actually carried) out of in the middle of the night without even a thought of me; whether I was with her or not. I know she loves me so I am thinking that she was very sleepy when she left and just thought that Mommy had packed me. Trinity.......are you reading this??

This is the room where we had all of our suitcases, clothes and other toys while we were visiting Grandma and PopPop's house. It's so empty now....just like my heart. When Trinity was with me, it didn't seem so big and lonely. Trinity.....can you hear me?

This is the computer where Trinity harvested her Country Life Farm on Facebook. She loves doing that and I loved sitting right next to her while she fed her animals. Trinity.....I hope you are keeping up with your farming back home but I know you are since you love your other animals just as much as you love me.

This is that nasty sleeping bag that I was stuck in when Trinity was snatched away, loaded into her van and driven away. I KNOW that if she knew I was not in the van with her, she would have been yelling and screaming....that's because she loves me and would not purposely leave me behind. Right, Trinity?

This is the kitchen table where we spent a lot of time coloring, playing games and eating. See the snow outside the patio door? Trinity, Maddie, Mommy and PopPop had a really fun time out there playing in the snow. It was a little too cold and wet for me so I stayed inside with Grandma. But she let me look out the window while you played and built your snow fort.

And, this is where it all happened. Mommy was on the couch sleeping with Madison and I was laying on this floor in the sleeping bag with Trinity. At approximately 3:00 a.m., the van was loaded up and last to go in was me and Madison. I guess when they took Trinity out of the sleeping bag, they didn't see me since I was way down in it trying to keep warm. And there I stayed while they drove off and until later that morning when Grandma was putting the sleeping bag away......out I popped! By then it was too late, by then they were miles and miles away. I wouldn't have been able to run fast enough to catch up to them, no matter how hard I tried. So, here I am....left in Milwaukee, without Trinity. Grandma knew how important I am to you, Trinity, so she sent Mommy a text message right away to let her know that I was safe and sound and didn't get dropped while loading up the van and wasn't shivering in a snowbank somewhere.
Don't worry, I'm being taken care of and Grandma has found a nice box for me to sleep in until she sends me to you in the mail. So, you take care and hang tight onto one of those reindeer that Grandma gave you and Madison until I get back into your arms in Tennessee.

I'm thinking of you Trinity...even when I'm farming with Grandma.

I love the way you write your stories. They are so fun to read. I'm sure it was more Trinity but it touched my heart. Have a Happy New Year!!!!
